Meet Tatiana Alida Carrelet
What made you want to start Tatiana Alida Design?
Art and design has always been what I wanted to pursue in my life, really since I was small I knew! I had all sorts of jobs to support my dream of having my own business.
When you were younger what did you want to be?
I wanted to be fashion designer !!
What has been your favourite personal moment to date?
Going full time with Tatiana Alida and giving up all my other jobs! When I moved into my first studio I just had that felling of yes I’v done it, this feel great.
What is the favourite aspect of the creativity of what you do?
I love my “Creative days" when I don’t have to do any admin / meetings and just spend my time on drawing / painting mind mapping ideas and letting lose on paper!
Who is the favourite person or brand you have worked with?
It has to be my t-shirt collab with Victoria Beckham, I learnt a lot and was very excited to be working with someone who I admire. 
What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
"Sleep on it before you act on it."
Who is your ultimate business inspiration?
I love the business module of Glossier by founder Emily Weiss its very in tune with young girls mentalists these days, and then Cath Kidston’, funnily enough I knew her growing up.
What trend do you predict will be the biggest in the coming year?
In the design world, I think people are going to start sewing more and making there own curtains, cushions at home. In fashion the mini skirt.. is back!
What are 3 words to describe yourself?
Jolly, sensitive and inquisitive.
What are 3 words to describe your brand
Colourful, joyful and independent.
What is the secret to success?
Just remembering to stay true and trusting my authenticity I guess. 
What advice would you give to future female generations?
Do/be/live the way that makes YOU happiest and most fulfilled, and know that there is power in your femininity so own it ! Femininity can be lots of different things.
What motivates you?
Hmm growing a collection of my own little goals and I just get excited about ideas and sharing them with people.
Which 3 people would make up your dream dinner party?
Timothee Chalamet, Mark Ronson and my lovely friend Lucy Lovett.
What are you grateful for?
I am grateful for my health my family as well as the joy I get from my business! The highs and low are all a part of it.
What is one thing everyone should do?
Hmm send more letters to people you care about… they're so special to receive.

What is your spirit animal?
A hedgehog!
What are you most unapologetic for?
Getting glammed up.
What is the best thing about having your own business?
That everything you put into it is a reflection on yourself.
What is the hardest thing about having your own business?
The accounting!!!
What is something you’re currently working on?
I am working on completing my Horoscope series of prints.
What will your brand look like in 10 years time?
Hmmm lots of things but my wish would be to have cocktail bar with a TA shop I would love to decorate it all in TA things….. ! Let see!
